Raytheon brings Engineering is Elementary to Harford County, Md.

Ceremonial check presentation supports Bakerfield Elementary School STEM Initiatives

On Dec. 4, Raytheon presented a $5,000 check to Bakerfield Elementary School in Aberdeen, Md., to support the school’s science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) lessons. The donation follows a $37,000 Raytheon grant previously awarded to the Harford County Public School system to implement Engineering is Elementary (EiE) into its classrooms. EiE is an award-winning STEM curriculum developed at the Museum of Science, Boston.
